Garage Gym Flooring is Live: Premium Gym Flooring, Made Simple
If you’re building a garage gym in the UK, you’ve probably realised something pretty quickly: gym flooring is either confusing, overpriced, or a gamble on quality.
That’s exactly why we launched Garage Gym Flooring.
We’re here to make it simple to buy the right floor for your training space — with honest advice, proven materials, and a straightforward buying experience.
Why we launched GGF
GGF was created for one reason: home gym owners deserve better.
We’ve spent years helping people build training spaces, we are the installation partners of Recharge Fitness and have worked on thousands of projects, from first-time garage gyms to full commercial installs. Over and over, we saw the same problems:
- Confusing specs (SBR, EPDM, thickness, density) with zero real guidance
- People buying flooring that looks good online but arrives thin, smelly, or uneven
- “Gym flooring” bundles that don’t fit the space, don’t protect the concrete, or don’t last
- Customers forced to choose between budget options and premium options with no clear difference explained
So we built GGF to be the specialist flooring store that people wished existed when they bought their flooring.
What makes GGF different
There are plenty of places to buy rubber tiles. The difference is what happens before you click “buy” — and what arrives at your door.
1) We’re flooring specialists (not a random marketplace)
We focus on gym flooring for one job: protecting your floor, reducing noise, and giving you a stable, grippy surface to train on.
That means:
-
Clear recommendations based on your training style
-
Proper thickness guidance (so you don’t overpay or underbuy)
-
Flooring that’s designed to perform, not just look good in product photos
2) Honest advice — even if it means you spend less
We’re big on straight-talking guidance.
If 20mm is enough for your space, we’ll tell you. If you’re dropping heavy barbells, we’ll tell you when 30mm+ is the smarter choice. If you need a platform or lifting zone rather than flooring the entire garage, we’ll help you plan it.
3) A product range built around real home gyms
GGF is built for UK garage gyms — not generic “rubber flooring” that’s meant for anything and works well for nothing.
We’re launching with three clear ranges:
-
Classic: practical, great value, built for everyday training
-
Luxe: premium feel and finish for a cleaner, more polished look
-
Designer: statement styles for garages that feel like proper studios
(We’ll keep these ranges tight and purposeful — no endless options that make it harder to choose.)
4) Simple buying: bundles, calculators, and add-on installation
Most people don’t want to become a flooring expert. They just want to know:
-
What should I buy?
-
How much do I need?
-
How quickly can I get it?
So we’re building the store around:
-
Easy bundles for common garage sizes
-
Clear guidance on measuring and planning
-
Optional add-on installation, so you can get it done properly without chasing trades
Who GGF is for
GGF is for you if you want a garage gym floor that:
-
Protects your concrete and your equipment
-
Feels solid underfoot (no sliding, no spongy surprises)
-
Helps reduce noise and vibration
-
Looks clean and professional
-
Is backed by a team that actually knows the difference between materials
Whether you’re setting up your first rack and barbell, upgrading from cheap mats, or building a full HYROX-style training space — we’ll point you to the right solution.
Ready to build your garage gym floor?
If you’re not sure what thickness or material you need, start with this:
-
What training do you do most: heavy lifting, functional fitness, cardio, or a mix?
-
Are you dropping weights (and if so, from overhead)?
-
What’s your garage floor like: smooth concrete, painted, uneven?
Send us those details and we’ll recommend the best setup.
Welcome to Garage Gym Flooring — premium flooring, without the guesswork.
